Privacy Policy
Last updated: [date — update once finalized]
1. Introduction
Me 2.0 is a product of SHOVLD LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. Me 2.0 is not therapy, medical care, or professional advice of any kind — see the Terms of Service for the full description of the service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect account information (your email address, which you verify when you create your account — either directly, or through Sign in with Apple or Google, in which case we receive your email address and, if you allow it, your name from that provider), the detailed personal information you share during onboarding, your conversation history, any photos you upload to generate your avatar, your chosen voice, any documents you optionally add to your knowledge base, and standard technical/usage data. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we only ever receive the relay address Apple gives us, never your real one. Payment card details are collected and processed entirely by Stripe — we never receive or store your full card number. If you contact us through the website's contact form, we collect the name, email address, category, and message you submit, solely to respond to your inquiry.
3. How Your Mind2Vault™ Grows Over Time
Your Mind2Vault™ does not stop growing when onboarding ends. It is designed to keep building for as long as you use Me 2.0, and it does so in three ways that we want to state plainly:
Questions we ask you. During ordinary conversation, Me 2.0 will periodically ask you a question about yourself — typically two or three times per session — drawn from a library covering areas such as your background and upbringing, relationships, beliefs, work, health, memories, and how you make decisions. When you answer, that answer is saved to your Mind2Vault™. You are never required to answer, and skipping a question has no effect on the service.
Details you mention on your own. This is the part we most want you to be aware of. In addition to answers you give to questions we ask, Me 2.0 automatically reviews your messages and saves durable factual details you volunteer about your own life — for example a place you lived, a job you held, a belief you hold, or a person you mention by name and their relationship to you. This happens automatically, without you being asked first, and it is how the app comes to know you the way someone who has known you a long time would. It applies only to lasting facts about you; we do not save passing remarks, moods, or the subject matter of what you are asking about.
People in your life. When you mention someone by name, we may store that name, their relationship to you, and the nature of your dynamic with them, so that Me 2.0 can reason about your life realistically. This information is about your relationships, held privately in your account. We do not contact these people, build profiles for them, or use their information for any purpose outside your own Mind2Vault™.
Seeing and removing any of it. Because some of this is captured without you explicitly submitting it, you can view everything Me 2.0 has recorded at any time, grouped by area, and delete any individual item or person (Memory → your depth level → What we know). When you delete an item, the content is removed. We retain a record that the question was previously asked, without your answer, so that Me 2.0 does not simply ask you the same thing again. Whenever something is added to your Mind2Vault™ during a conversation, the app shows you a confirmation at that moment naming the area it was filed under, so you can see it happening in real time rather than discovering it later.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to generate your personalized avatar, voice, and conversational responses, to operate your subscription, to run the automated safety checks described below, and to keep the app working reliably. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your Mind2Vault™ or conversation content for advertising.
5. Automated Safety Monitoring
Every onboarding answer and every conversation message is automatically screened before being stored or used, to detect expressions of self-harm or suicidal crisis, credible and specific threats of violence toward an identifiable person, and certain illegal instructional content. Flagged content is not used to build your ongoing profile. If self-harm is detected, you'll see a supportive message with crisis-line information instead of a normal reply.
6. How We Share Information
We share information with the categories of service providers that power the app: an AI processing provider (which generates conversational responses and runs the automated safety check), a second AI/generative-media provider (which generates your avatar image, your spoken voice, and powers knowledge-base search), a payment processor (which processes payment and billing), and a cloud hosting/database provider (which provides the underlying database, storage, and authentication). Each acts on our behalf under their own data terms and does not use your information for their own purposes.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as you have an account. You can delete any individual thing Me 2.0 has learned about you, or any person it has recorded, at any time (Memory → your depth level → What we know). You can permanently delete your whole Mind2Vault™ — your identity core, decision framework, values, emotional and state patterns, preferences, relational patterns, onboarding answers, everything learned in conversation since, and the people recorded in it — at any time from Settings, without affecting anything else. You can also permanently delete your entire account from Settings: this removes your Mind2Vault™, conversation history, avatar and uploaded photos, chosen voice, knowledge base, goals, and instinct check-ins, cancels any active subscription immediately, and deletes the account itself. These actions are immediate and cannot be undone.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. You can delete your Mind2Vault™, or your entire account, yourself at any time from Settings — see Data Retention above for exactly what each option removes. You can also export a password-protected copy of your Mind2Vault™, values, goals, memories, and decision history at any time (Memory → Mind2Vault™ → Export Mind2Vault™), and use that same archive to restore it later. For anything beyond that (correcting other stored information), contact us while the rest of our self-service tools are still being built.
9. Children's Privacy
Me 2.0 is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the applicable minimum age in their jurisdiction.
10. Security
We restrict access to your data using security policies scoped to your own account, and store uploaded photos and generated avatars in private, non-public storage. No security measure is perfect.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll let you know before any material change takes effect.
